INGREDIENTS
- 500 g frozen fries
- 120 g vegan minced meat
- 100 g bedda Grated Gouda Style
- 30 g pickled red cabbage
- 10 g chopped and roasted peanuts
- 3-4 tbsp sesame cream (mix bedda Mayo with tahini)
- 2 tsp chopped chives
- 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)
- spices salt, pepper

- 1/4 red cabbage
- 150 ml apple cider vinegar
- 150 ml water
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 2 garlic cloves (thinly sliced)
- Spices of your choice e.g. cloves, star anise, black peppercorns
- Spices salt, pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare fries according to package instructions.
Prepare the vegan minced meat according to package instructions. Add the hot sauce and mix well.
Place baking paper on a baking sheet. Place about half of the fries on the baking sheet and top with half of the vegan ground beef and half of the bedda Grated Gouda Style. Then place the rest of the fries on top and top with the remaining ground meat and bedda Grated Gouda Style. Bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 10 minutes until the cheese starts to melt and everything is heated.
Top with the pickled red cabbage, roasted peanuts. Then drizzle with the sesame cream and sprinkle the chopped chives.
For the pickled red cabbage
Thinly slice the red cabbage. Put the sliced red cabbage in a canning jar with the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Close the jar and leave to infuse at room temperature for about 4 to 6 hours. Stir or shake occasionally.
After 4 to 6 hours, put the red cabbage in the refrigerator. The red cabbage should always be covered with liquid.Â
