INGREDIENTS
For 2 Portions
- 1 bedda Greek Style Plain or bedda Greek Style with herbs
- 75 g + 50 g flour
- 150 ml vegetable milk
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 20 g sesame seeds
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- oil for frying
- Spices salt, pepper
- To serve: Cranberries
INSTRUCTIONS
Pat the bedda Greek Style dry with a kitchen towel and then cut into two triangles.
Put 75 g of flour in a bowl.
In a second bowl, whisk together 50 g flour and vegetable milk.
Add bread crumbs, sesame seeds, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper to a third bowl and mix.
Put the triangles in the flour and then in the milk-flour mixture. Then into the breadcrumbs. Then again in the milk-flour mixture and finally again in the breadcrumbs. Make sure that the pieces are completely covered with breadcrumbs.
Heat the oil in a deep fryer or in a pot. Place the shepherd’s pie in the heated oil and deep fry for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Then transfer to a plate lined with kitchen towels to drain the excess oil.
Serve warm with cranberries.
